Beat the Heat

July is well underway and with temperatures on the rise, summer is officially in full force. While flocking to the pool, beach or lake may be the dreamy way to keep cool (YES, please!), it isn’t always practical or even accessible. Let’s face it, most of us are spending the majority of the day tucked away indoors with the AC on full blast just to get a bit of relief. Well that’s about to change…

Among the many benefits of essential oils, the therapeutic properties in minty oils such as peppermint, spearmint and eucalyptus all have a naturally cooling effect that will leave you (and your mind) feeling calm and refreshed in the scorching days ahead.

You’re in luck because we have created two perfect blends that will soon become your favorite summer side-kick. Breathe Deeply, using a mix of eucalyptus and peppermint oils, packs a minty punch.  Peppermint essential oil promotes a general soothing and cooling sensation of the body while eucalyptus aids in the opening of your breathing passages. This blend is perfect to use as a facial spritz while lounging in the sun on the beach or at the pool. Take it with you on a long hike or bring it in your carry-on for instant relief on those warm, stuffy flights.

Our Athlete blend is necessary to prepare for, and recuperate from, an intense workout. The same scent is available in three different label options, allowing you to pick your sport of choice: Run Sweat Recover or Cycle Sweat Recover. Whatever way is your favorite to stay fit and shed calories for that summer beach body, this spritz will become your new best friend.  An invigorating mix of spearmint and tea tree essential oil, which are both known for their anti fungal and antimicrobial properties, make this blend great as a pre/post workout spritz for your face + body.  It can also help clean your gym bag, shoes, knee/wrist wraps or any other accessory that needs a quick clean.

These products are available in both Canada and the U.S. Get your Spritz on here: Breathe DeeplyThe Athlete Blend
